Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is seeking a dedicated RN for Med Surg to work the night shift in Pensacola, Florida. This part-time role supports a multidisciplinary team dedicated to high-quality patient care.

You will deliver direct nursing care, monitor patients, coordinate with physicians and staff, and assist with discharge planning while following established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date required.
• Licensed RN in Florida prior to hire date required.
• Compact State license recognition acceptable prior to hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to policies and procedures.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition.
• Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
