Job summary

Banner Health in Queen Creek, Arizona seeks a Certified Patient Care Assistant to support a Medical Surgical team. The role involves routine patient care, data collection, and nursing support across multiple units with a 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM day shift and rotating weekends/holidays.

Full-time position with self-scheduling tools, a $3,000 sign-on bonus for licensed CNAs or LNAs, and opportunities to grow within a large health system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current CNA (state) license is required for new hires.
• 1 year medical clerical experience or customer service preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic hygiene.
• Collect vital signs, intake/output, and other data; document in medical records.
• Communicate patient status and needs to the care team.
• Perform delegated procedures and assist with equipment.
• Handle receptionist/clerical duties to support unit operations.
• Maintain patient records, charts, and supplies; assist in ordering specimens.
• Support unit activities and transport patients as needed.
