Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the full-time night shift. You will assist with patient care, monitor vital signs, mobility, and independent activities of daily living under charge of an RN.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications: CNA/NCMA/NCPCT or similar programs or Navy Hospital Corps School, EMR/EMS/EMT experience acceptable.
• AHA BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient changes.
• Assist with mobility and ambulation; support patient safety.
• Perform phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and EKG testing.
• Assist with peripheral IV removal and specimen collection.
• Assist with Foley catheter insertion and removal as directed.
• Document observations promptly for RN and medical staff.
