Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health at Clermont Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the PCU night shift with 24 hours a week. You will support nursing staff by providing basic patient care, monitoring vitals, assisting with daily activities, and helping maintain patient comfort in a fast-paced unit.

You’ll work under the supervision of registered nurses, document care in the EHR, and participate in hand-offs. Previous acute care experience and a nursing aide credential are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of nursing aide training program or STNA certificate or CNA certification.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and comfort under RN supervision.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper room sanitation.
• Document care accurately in EHR.
