Bon Secours Mercy Health's St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the Neuro Stepdown unit (4A).

This full-time night position runs 7pm–7am and includes every third weekend, focusing on patient comfort, vitals, hygiene, and basic nursing support under RN supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, documenting care in the EHR, liaising with nurses, and delivering high-quality patient and family interactions.

Qualifications

• Possesses problem‑solving skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Engage with staff and patients in a professional manner.
• Ability to be proactive in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care, vital signs, personal care and hygiene.
• Act as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes.
• Deliver high‑level customer service to patients and families.
• Document care accurately and timely in the patient record.
• Participate in hand‑offs and care coordination.
