Job summary

HonorHealth seeks a dedicated PRN Patient Care Technician / Health Unit Coordinator for its Emergency Department. The role supports a 21-bed pediatric-prepared ED, handling direct patient care and coordination tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification; CNA/EMT credentials are preferred. Night shifts with self-scheduling and weekend rotations are offered to support flexible coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months of healthcare experience within the last year is required; acute care preferred.
• BLS certification is required; CNA/EMT certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist licensed staff.
• Observe and report patient changes to supervising caregiver.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of care delivered.
