NYU Langone Health in New York is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the ED night shift (35 hours) to assist the professional nurse in patient care and support the unit's safety and supplies.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, infection control, and collaboration with the health care team. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or PCT/CNA pathway with CPR/BLS, and hospital experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a PCT program with at least 6 months hospital experience, OR CNA graduate with EKG & Phlebotomy courses and PCT certification eligible plus 6 months hospital experience.
• PCT Certification through NHA with at least 6 months hospital experience may be accepted.

Responsabilités

• Assists the nurse in patient care tasks and safety.
• Supports unit supplies, equipment, and environment.
• Participates in Quality and Performance Improvement data collection.
