White Oak Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, seeks an experienced Patient Care Technician for the Heart and Vascular Unit to support nursing staff and patient care in a faith-based hospital setting.

The role includes performing vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision, following care plans, and contributing to a safe care environment. Night shifts, 36 hours per week, with weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Successful completion of a CNA or first year Nursing School Program and CNA exam required.
• Maryland CNA license required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Effective command of English (spoken and written).
• Physical ability to lift, bend and turn.

Responsabilités

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow care plan as established and delegated by the RN.
• Receive report from the RN and ensure safety.
• Identify and report malfunctioning/expired equipment and supplies.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
• Participate in education programs and professional initiatives.
