Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center in Naples, FL is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care during night shifts. Under RN/LPN supervision, the PCT assists with activities of daily living, maintains a safe environment, and supports effective communication within the care team.

Essential duties include assisting with meals, bathing, mobility, data collection (vital signs, intake/outtake), and reporting findings.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintains a clean, safe environment.
• Collects vital signs, intake/output, and reports findings to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Supports meals, bathing, mobility, linen changes, and comfort measures.
• Communicates patient information to care team and adheres to safety protocols.
• Maintains attendance and participates in performance improvement initiatives.
