Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center in Naples, FL is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the full-time evening shift. The PCT provides patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision, assists with ADLs, collects data, and maintains a safe environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• Basic knowledge of patient care practices and equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with basic patient care services and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collect and record patient data (vital signs, intake/output, etc.) and report to RN/LPN.
• Support patients with meals, bathing, grooming, and mobility aids.
• Position patients, assist with ambulation, and use mobility devices as needed.
• Collect urine/stool samples and perform finger-stick blood glucose monitoring.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the care team and adhere to safety protocols.
• Maintain infection control practices and PPE usage; participate in safety goals.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
