Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the full-time night shift. The PCT provides patient care, assists with daily living activities, monitors vital signs, performs phlebotomy and EKG testing, collects specimens, and supports Foley catheter management under RN supervision.

Required: HS Diploma or Equivalent with one of the listed certifications and Basic Life Support.

Formación

• HS diploma or equivalent and one of the listed certifications.
• Basic Life Support Certification required.
• Experience as PCT or Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Ability to observe, document and report changes promptly.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Monitor vital signs, mobility, phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Perform EKG testing and point-of-care testing as needed.
• Assist with Foley catheter insertion and removal when directed.
• Maintain patient safety and document status for the RN.
