Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant with minimum 3 months training or on-the-job training.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission by taking vital signs, measurements and weights and orienting patient to unit.
• Provide patient care per unit standards and document accordingly under RN supervision.
• Assist physician and/or nurse with procedures and monitor patient status and intake/output.
• Assist with daily living activities and transport patients as needed.
• Maintain unit cleanliness, stock supplies, and ensure proper equipment handling.
• Provide emotional support and participate in unit staff meetings and CQI activities.
