Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collects and records vital signs and patient data, reporting findings to the RN/LPN.
• Supports patients with meals, bathing, grooming, linen changes, and basic care.
• Assists with patient positioning, mobility, and use of mobility aids.
• Collects urine/stool samples and performs glucose monitoring, documenting results.
• Communicates patient information to the care team and adheres to PPE protocols.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards; participates in safety initiatives.
• May be required to maintain continuous visual observation of the patient.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
