Job summary

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Patient Care Technician for the Third (Nights) shift. The unit provides care for medical and surgical patients with 1–2 day stays. You will perform patient care, vital signs, mobility support, phlebotomy, and basic testing under RN supervision.

Requirements include a HS Diploma or equivalent; BLS within 90 days; and healthcare experience is preferred. Full-time night position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
• One year healthcare experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and support activities of daily living.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient status.
• Assist with mobility, specimen collection, and EKG/point-of-care testing as directed.
