Job summary

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Patient Care Tech for a full-time night shift on our Medicine Unit. Hours are 7PM to 7AM, three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends.

As an unlicensed team member under the supervision of a nurse, you will provide patient care, assist with admissions and discharges, and monitor patient conditions. The hospital is Magnet-certified with strong teamwork and offers tuition assistance and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS – High School Grad or Equivalent.
• Completion of recognized CNA/NCMA/NCPCT or equivalent program or current clinical training.
• AHA BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions and report changes.
• Provide patient care under the supervision of a professional nurse and assist with admissions/discharges.
