Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care on a night shift. The PCT will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and support a safe care environment under RN/LPN supervision.

Responsibilities include data collection, mobility assistance, feeding support, infection control, and effective communication with the care team. CNA/CPCT preferred; healthcare teamwork required.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting; preferred
• Currently enrolled in a Nursing program is preferred

Responsabilités

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintains a safe, organized environment.
• Collects and records patient data including vital signs and intake/output; reports to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Supports patients with meals, hygiene, mobility, and activities of daily living.
• Assists with positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Collects urine/stool samples and may perform glucose monitoring; documents results.
