Job summary

Memorial Hermann is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join Central Staffing. The role provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with ADLs, in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of bedside patient care experience, the ability to obtain/maintain phlebotomy skills within 90 days, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bedside patient care experience (e.g. CNA or PCT).
• Phlebotomy skills check-off required within 90 days of hire.
• Proficiency in core competencies for PCT as validated by clinical education.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Document accurately and report changes to the nurse promptly.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to policies.
