Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for Highland Park Hospital on a full-time night shift with rotating weekends. The role involves direct patient care, monitoring, vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living under RN/LPN supervision.

Responsibilities include patient safety, documentation, and collaboration with nurses. The ideal candidate will have CNA training, BLS certification, and strong interpersonal skills to support compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited CNA training course preferred.
• Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs, vital signs, and basic patient care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Provide patient and family orientation and emotional support.
• Assist with room set up, transport, and transfers as needed.
• Document care activities and report changes to the nursing staff.
• Perform safe patient handling and assist with ambulation as trained.
