Virtua Health is seeking a Per Diem PCT for the Night Shift in Voorhees, NJ. This role supports Registered Nurses and LPNs by assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and routine care, while maintaining high standards of ethics and patient privacy.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and a PCT/CNA/RN fundamentals background, plus BLS certification. Responsibilities include patient safety, education reinforcement, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Basic patient care skills, procedures and standards.
• Strong communication with patients, families and team.
• High School Diploma or GED required (or equivalent).
• PCT course, CNA program, or RN fundamentals coursework required or 1 year patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, hygiene).
• Take vital signs and document results; assist with care tasks.
• May perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified.
• Identify changes in patient status and communicate to RN/LPN.
• Reinforce patient and family education; support care coordination.
