Job summary

Beverly Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a Patient Care Technician to support nurses and care teams in delivering safe, compassionate patient care. You will perform basic tasks under supervision, help with daily activities, and ensure patient comfort and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic reading/writing and math, BLS within 90 days, and CNA preferred. Schedule is 16 hours/week, nights with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read/write and perform basic math.
• CNA Certification preferred but not required upon hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, height/weight, and oxygen saturation.
• Assist with personal care and daily activities.
• Report unusual observations to the nurse.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
