Beverly Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist with basic patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will support daily activities, monitor patient comfort and safety, and collaborate with the care team to maintain quality care.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, the ability to read and perform basic math, BLS within 90 days, and basic computer skills. CNA certification is preferred but not required.

Qualificações

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read/write and perform basic math.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Take and document vital signs.
• Measure height and weight and oxygen saturation.
• Report unusual observations to the nurse.
• Collect specimens for analysis as directed.
• Record and monitor intake and output.
• Assist patients with daily activities and personal care.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under RN supervision.
• Assist with room service and meal setup/feeding.

Conhecimentos

Basic computer skills

Medical terminology

Basic Life Support (BLS)
