Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required; must meet one of the listed certification paths.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required or implied by nurse-adjacent role.
• Candidates may be currently enrolled in a clinical program and have related healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Perform vital signs, mobility, and ambulation tasks.
• Assist with phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKGs, and basic IV removal as directed by RN.

Education

HS Diploma or Equivalent (Required) and one of the following required

Sentara Care Partner Certification Program

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)

National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)

US Navy Hospital Corps School

Emergency Services (EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic)

Clinical program student (RN/LPN/RT/PT) with one semester completed

Experience as PCT or Nursing Assistant (within last 3 years)
