Job summary

Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD seeks a Patient Care Tech I for the Surgical Inpatient/IMC Unit. This part-time, night-shift role supports adolescent and adult patients on a 32-bed unit with floor, telemetry and 6 intermediate care beds, delivering compassionate, family-centered care.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, Maryland CNA, BLS CPR, and about one year of relevant clinical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Maryland CNA required.
• One year of clinical experience in a relevant setting (hospital preferred).
• BLS CPR certification required (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient- and family-centered care as part of the healthcare team.
• Participate in ongoing education; first-year training includes eight days off-unit learning activities.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland

BLS CPR certification

One year of clinical experience (hospital preferred)
