Qualifications include CNA certification and BLS, with at least one year of clinical experience or completion of an intern program.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent) required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred or successful completion of intern program.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with changing and dressing.
• Transport patients by stretcher, bed, or wheelchair.
• Identify abnormal findings in vital signs, lab results, EKG, and CXR.
• Report all abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Escort patients to holding rooms.
• Assist with patient belongings and verification of information.
• Orient patients and families to the environment.
• Obtain vital signs.
