Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT I) for the Surgical Inpatient / IMC Unit. This full-time night-shift position (36 hours) supports a 32-bed unit providing care across floor, telemetry, and 9 intermediate care beds.

The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care with ongoing education to meet certification standards and professional development. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, Maryland CNA, BLS CPR, and about a year of relevant clinical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active Maryland CNA certification is required.
• One year of clinical experience (home care, outpatient, acute care) within the last two years is preferred.
• BLS CPR certification (AHA/Red Cross/Military Training Network) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient- and family-centered care as part of the healthcare team.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification activities for clinical technicians.
• Support care across Surgical Inpatient / IMC Unit (including floor, telemetry, and intermediate care) as needed.
