Geisinger is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the BP2 Advanced Acute Care Medical unit. The role includes supporting patient activities of daily living, delivering essential bedside care and participating in a team-focused environment with opportunities for growth.

Position offers a $1,500 sign-on for eligible candidates, a minimum hourly rate of $18.94 with potential increases for experience and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Being the primary facilitator of ADLs: hygiene, toileting, mobility, meals
• Collecting vital signs & daily weights
• Conducting Point of Care testing
• Turning & repositioning patients
• Performing equipment checks & exchanges
• Dressing care
• Removal of Foley Catheter and Peripheral IV
