Northwestern Medicine is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to join a 24-bed unit at CDH Medical Care Center in Illinois. The role supports adult medical and oncology patients, performing basic patient care under RN supervision and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or nursing student with one semester of clinical completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic nursing care activities as delegated by an RN, including monitoring vital signs and glucose measurements.
• Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Report abnormal findings to nursing staff and maintain clean, orderly patient rooms.
• Demonstrate flexibility and ability to multitask under stressful conditions.
