Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CNA, Certified Medical Assistant, EMT, or nursing student with one semester of clinical completed.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs and recording intake and output.
• Assists patients with personal care and activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Demonstrates flexibility, organization, and multitasking under stressful conditions.
• Prioritizes unit tasks and collaborates with the charge RN and staff.
• Acts as liaison between patient care units and other departments.
• Answers calls and intercoms politely and communicates with staff, family, and patients.
• Manages overall unit workflow with nursing leadership as needed.
• Performs census-related tasks and validates daily admissions, discharges, and census lists.
