Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA seeks a PCT III for the night shift to provide high-quality patient care in a busy unit. You will support RNs, monitor vital signs, assist with hygiene, mobility, and safety procedures while maintaining compassionate patient interactions.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and current BLS, plus 1 year of acute care/hospital experience or EMT Paramedic experience.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated competency at PCT II level or 1 year acute care/hospital experience or 1 year EMT Paramedic experience.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, timely communication to RN regarding patient observations.
• Maintain constant observation of high-risk patients as assigned.
• Assist with daily living activities and safe patient handling.
• Support RN/LEP with treatments and procedures, preparing equipment and supplies.
