Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Patient Care Technician for third shift (nights). You will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to provide patient care, support admissions and discharges, and ensure patient safety. The role requires a HS diploma and relevant certifications or clinical program status.

This non-licensed staff position offers a base pay with potential shift differentials and other compensation. Weekend/holiday rotation included.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma and one of the listed certifications.
• Sentara Care Partner Certification Program or CNA or NCMA or NCPCT.
• Current student in a clinical program may qualify.
• Recent PCT or Nursing Assistant experience within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Support admissions and discharge processes.
• Observe patients' conditions and report changes to nursing staff.
• Uphold patient safety practices as directed by the nurse.
