Job summary
Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA seeks a Patient Care Technician for the Third (Nights) shift. You will support admission/discharge, perform vitals, taking blood, bathing and ambulating patients, and provide catheter care under nurse supervision.
Must possess or be eligible for CNA, NCMA, NCPCT, or related certifications. Prior direct care experience is preferred. Sentara offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in a magnet-designated hospital setting.
Qualifications
- Must have one or more of the listed certifications or equivalency.
- Experience in direct patient care is preferred.
- Current student in a clinical program with relevant semester/experience may qualify.
Responsibilities
- Support admission and discharge processes.
- Assist with bathing, ambulating, and daily care of patients.
- Take vitals and draw blood.
- Provide catheter care and respond to patient needs under nurse supervision.
