Job summary

Endeavor Health in Highland Park is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the ED night shift (7pm-7:30am) at full-time 36 hours weekly. You will support patient care, monitor patients, and assist with basic clinical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires CNA training preferred, BLS certification, strong teamwork and communication, and basic computer skills. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US and willing to follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• Completion of an accredited CNA training course preferred.
• Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider issued by American Heart Association.
• If BLS certification is not current, to be obtained within the introductory period (90 days).
• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, prioritization, and following directions.
• Basic Computer skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with the flow of ED duties and patient care needs.
• Utilize patient movement equipment for transfers when non-emergency.
• Follow PPE protocols (N95, PAPR) and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses and healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
