Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech (Part Time Nights) to assist with activities of daily living under supervision of RNs/LPNs at Lourdes Health System, Camden. The role includes basic patient care, vital signs, phlebotomy/EKG if certified, and safety-focused care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and completion of a PCT, CNA, or RN fundamentals course, with BLS certification preferred. Benefits and a competitive hourly rate are offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, hygiene.
• Support patient mobility, transfer, and transportation needs.
• Take vital signs and assist with point-of-care tasks as directed by RN/LPN.
• Assist with specimen collection (phlebotomy) and ECGs if certified.
• Communicate changes in patient status to the care team and document appropriately.
• Participate in patient education, safety initiatives, and quality improvement activities.
