Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for night shift (7pm-7am), 16-36 hours per week (0.4-0.9 FTE). Base pay is $19.10 per hour plus applicable shift differentials, with every fourth weekend and one winter & one summer holiday required.

Under supervision of an RN or Care Manager, you will collect vital signs and document data, assist with procedures, ensure safety, HIPAA compliance, and help with unit stocking and light clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent licensure or experience.
• Active State Tested Nurse Aide License in the State of Ohio, or equivalent education or experience.
• Current CPR certification (BLS for healthcare provider).

Responsabilités

• Collects, documents, and reports vital signs.
• Promotes general patient safety and assists with procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Assists with stocking, cleaning, and maintaining unit areas.
• Performs clerical tasks and supports continuing education.
