Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston is seeking a Patient Care Assistant II to join the Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital team. You will support the Registered Nurse with daily patient care tasks, including vital signs, glucose monitoring, and wound care, while ensuring patient safety.

This 8- to 12-hour shift position covers every other weekend and holidays, with a 36-hour workweek. Candidates must be a CNA/PCT with CPR/AED skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician credentials required.
• Experience as CNA/PCT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment and monitor patient safety.
• Perform EKGs and blood glucose monitoring.
• Assist RN with patient care tasks and dressing changes.
• Communicate with RN and coordinate patient care across shifts.
• Adhere to hospital policies and maintain patient confidentiality.
