Job summary

Mass General Brigham Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is hiring a Patient Care Assistant II to support registered nurses in a fast-paced unit. You will perform essential clinical tasks, monitor patients, and respond to call lights with CPR/AED readiness.

The role requires a CNA/PCT or nursing student with clinical rotation, a valid CPR/AED certificate, and strong English communication skills. Night shifts, on-site work, and a collaborative team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or current nursing student who has completed Fundamentals of Nursing or equivalent med/surgical clinical rotation.
• Current Heartsaver CPR AED certification required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe patient environments and perform routine tasks under RN supervision.
• Conduct basic patient care including vitals, dressing changes, and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Take 1:1 patient observations as needed and monitor for safety.
• Document patient information accurately and promptly per hospital policy.
• Collaborate with nursing and health care teams to ensure quality care.
