OhioHealth in Cambridge, OH, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support the Emergency Department during night shifts. You will assist the Registered Nurse with direct patient care, monitor basic patient needs, and help maintain a safe and compassionate environment for patients and families.

The role involves performing delegated tasks, basic measurements, and using handheld devices to document care while collaborating with nursing staff. Training and safety are emphasized throughout the unit.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 16- and 17-year-old individuals may be considered with a valid work permit.

Mansioni

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, walking).
• Maintain environmental cleanliness and safety of patient rooms and unit.
• Assist in telemetry monitoring and communicate findings to licensed staff.
• Perform basic nursing tasks delegated by the RN that can be done safely with straightforward directions.
• Record vital signs, height, weight, intake and output on documentation forms.
• Assist visitors and staff with information needs and coordinate care using wireless devices.
