Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 16- and 17-year-old individuals may be considered with a valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, walking).
• Maintain environmental cleanliness and safety of patient rooms and unit.
• Assist in telemetry monitoring and communicate findings to licensed staff.
• Perform basic nursing tasks delegated by the RN that can be done safely with straightforward directions.
• Record vital signs, height, weight, intake and output on documentation forms.
• Assist visitors and staff with information needs and coordinate care using wireless devices.
