Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for 6 West Med Surg Pulmonary PT night shift (7p-7:30a). You will support RNs with direct and indirect patient care, vital signs, and routine tasks in a high‑acuity unit.

Responsibilities include observing patient responses, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring safety and confidentiality. Certification within 90 days may be required if not already held.

Qualifications

• Direct and indirect patient care under RN guidance.
• Comfort, safety and emergency measures during care activities.
• Onsite nursing certification within 90 days if not present at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition and responses to treatments.
• Follow the care plan addressing physical, psychosocial and daily living needs.
