Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support 6 West Med Surg Pulmonary in a 24-hour–per-week schedule, day shift (7a-3:30p). You will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, perform ECGs and capillary glucose, and support the care plan under licensed staff.

Requires High School Diploma; Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant rotation and BLS certification preferred; 1 year patient care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year patient care experience preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Measure vital signs and observe treatment effects; report changes.
• Ensure safety and confidentiality in line with Hospital policies.
