Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH seeks a Patient Care Nurse Assistant for the Digestive Disease General Surgery unit at the Main Campus. You will work nights, 7:00pm to 7:30am, providing or assisting with patient care under the supervision of an RN and supporting a world-class care team.

The unit handles complex abdominal surgeries; you will report changes in patient conditions, help keep rooms clean, and participate in an influenza prevention program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross required (or obtained within new hire period).
• Nursing students may have BLS certification; if not, obtain during hire period.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under the supervision of an RN (vital signs, daily living activities, transfers, etc.).
• Report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition to an RN.
• Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
