Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Digestive Disease Institute is seeking a skilled registered nurse to join the G100 Gastroenterology and Hepatology Unit in Cleveland, OH. You will provide compassionate nursing care and help manage care plans for patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases.

These night shifts run from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with responsibilities including monitoring patients, administering medications, coordinating discharges, and educating patients and families to support successful

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• One year of current acute care RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
