Job summary

Mary Free Bed in Saginaw is seeking a Nurse Care Assistant to support the Nursing Department during the Night shift. You will work under the supervision of the registered nurse, performing direct patient care and ensuring safety and comfort for patients.

This full-time role offers 32 hours per week, starting rate $18 per hour with night shift premium, PTO and benefits. CNA preferred; prior nursing assistant experience is a plus, and computer documentation is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNA preferred.
• Previous nurse technician or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Understanding of medical technology and rehabilitation care preferred.
• Must be able to follow RN instructions and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN direction.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with daily living activities.
• Collect specimens and assist with patient transport.
• Maintain clean, safe patient environment.
• Communicate effectively with RN and care team.

Skills
