Job summary

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Training will be provided, with shifts including 6pm–6am Wed, Thu, Fri and potential on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service skills and knowledge of patient financial services.
• Experience with patient access, scheduling, or front-office healthcare preferred (training provided).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with common office software and typing ability.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify demographics and insurance information.
• Process registration quickly and accurately while ensuring patient safety.
• Explain financial responsibility and assist with financing or discounts when needed.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize patient flow and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance across systems.
• Handle patient payments and billing inquiries as part of the intake process.
• Utilize multiple systems for intake, verification, and scheduling.
• Provide courteous service and address patient concerns to improve experience.
• May perform additional PAS team duties as needed.
