Jefferson Health Northeast operates the Torresdale Emergency Department and is seeking a Patient Access Representative for the overnight shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM), Tuesday through Saturday, with one spring/summer holiday and one fall/winter holiday.

The role focuses on delivering a positive patient experience by accurately collecting demographics, insurance details, initiating charity/referral processes when needed, and handling outpatient registrations and phone inquiries.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years healthcare customer service experience.
• Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Gathers accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Requests and scans photo ID and insurance cards.
• Verifies insurance coverage, referrals, and authorizations.
• Collects patient out-of-pocket liability at time of service.
