Responsibilities

• Registers patients in EMR, capturing demographic and financial data accurately.
• Greet customers promptly with a warm, professional welcome.
• Collects and documents all required demographic and financial information.
• Direct patients to appropriate setting and explain any delays.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to department standards and compliance.
• Estimate and collect copays, deductibles, and other patient financial obligations.
• Comply with Meaningful Use and hospital policies for visit processing.
• May facilitate electronic registration tools when available.
