Job summary

XGS is hiring part-time warehouse dockworkers in California to load and unload freight by hand or using pallet jacks and forklifts. You will sort products, scan barcodes, and keep the dock area neat and orderly. Sunday-Thursday, starting at 11pm, with a pay rate of $19.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include verifying shipping information, receiving and storing inventory, and ensuring accuracy of orders. You may handle damaged goods, assist with counting, and perform other duties as assigned by

Qualifications

• 6 months experience
• Previous experience as a fulfillment associate
• Knowledge of warehousing procedures an advantage
• Ability to read and interpret written work orders
• Strong attention to detail
• 18 years old
• Meet minimum hiring criteria

Responsibilities

• Offload delivery trucks into the warehouse
• Load or unload by hand or with pallet jack/forklift
• Use scanners to read barcodes on products
• Scan barcodes and ensure correct destination
• Receive and store inventory
• Verify merchandise information with work orders
• Attach barcodes for tracking
• Finalize the work order and update records
• Inspect merchandise for damage or defects
• Report overages, shortages, and damages
• Sort freight by destination
• Verify freight counts
• Dock area cleanup as needed
• May perform other duties as assigned
