Job summary

XGS is seeking a warehouse dockworker in Tunnel Hill, GA, with Monday-Friday 6PM start and $18.25/hour. You will load and unload freight, use barcode scanners, and keep the dock clean and orderly.

Responsibilities include offloading trucks, operating pallet jacks or forklifts, scanning barcodes, verifying shipping information, receiving inventory, and updating the system. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to read work orders.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in warehousing
• Experience as a fulfillment associate
• Able to read and interpret written work orders
• Must be 18 years old and meet minimum hiring criteria

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries from trucks into the warehouse
• Operate pallet jack, lift truck, or side cart as needed
• Use barcode scanners to read product barcodes
• Verify shipping information from the scan unit and route correctly
• Receive and put away inventory
• Ensure labels match the work orders
• Attach barcodes to freight for tracking
• Finalize work orders and update the inventory system
• Inspect merchandise for damage or irregularities
• Maintain a clean and orderly dock area
• May perform other duties as assigned by management
