Job summary

Atrium Health University City Emergency Department is hiring for a full-time role with a night shift from 7p to 7a. The position offers 36 hours per week and a pay range of $24.10 to $36.15 per hour, with benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Emergency Medical Services.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients and families.
• Must maintain skill and recertification as required by regulation and organization.

Responsibilities

• Documents information/procedures and promptly communicates observations, concerns and needs of the patient to the licensed clinician.
• Under the direction of a licensed clinician, prepares and administers medications.
• Assists physician with bedside or other procedures as applicable to facility.
• Under the direction of the licensed clinician, provides assistance in emergencies.
• Notifies department RN or physician immediately of changes in patient condition.
• Collaborates with physicians to support communications required to facilitate patient care.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment and adheres to safety policies.
