Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Twinsburg Family Health & Surgery Center is seeking a Paramedic (EMTP) for night shift care in the Emergency Department. You will work under RN supervision, monitor patients, perform EKGs and procedures, and support critical care teams in a high-stakes environment.

Required OH EMTP licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and EMS clinical experience. ITLS is preferred. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a strong hospital network in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited EMS-Paramedic training program.
• Current licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMTP) in Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification upon hire or within one year.
• Clinical EMS Paramedic training program experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Emergency Department under RN supervision.
• Acquire and record vital signs and perform EKGs and CPR.
• Assist with phlebotomy, suctioning, and oxygen therapy.
• Initiate cardiac monitoring and notify changes to the RN/physician.
• Apply orthopaedic devices and assist with restraints and transport.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and patient confidentiality.
