Job summary

OhioHealth Emergency Department in Pickerington is seeking a Part-Time EMT-Paramedic to support patient care during night shifts under RN supervision. You will assist with admissions, transfers, and physician evaluations in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities include CPR, EKG, IV access, specimen handling, and diligent charting while maintaining equipment readiness and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• High School or GED (Required).
• State of Ohio EMT-P licensure and BLS/CPR are required.
• Optional PALS, BTLS may be pursued.

Responsibilities

• Takes vital signs and weight; assists with admissions and transfers; prepares patient for physician evaluation.
• Performs CPR, EKG, and monitors patient on cardiac monitor; provides oxygen per orders.
• Assists with venous access, IV starts, and specimen collection per protocol.
• Documents interventions and patient responses in the medical record.
• Maintains EMS/Code equipment and supports lab and radiology as needed.
